Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26 1978) was born in the city of Campinas in Sao Paulo. She's appeared as a character in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira has been an integral part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since March 2020. She manages the Assassination Witness Project and is a major part of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. In her work with GI TOC she is focused on the assassination of people - which includes disappearances - and violence of other forms in relation to illicit economies. Her research interests also involve the impact of criminal organizations on human rights and humanitarian laws and policies. Ana Paula holds an LL.M cum laude with a laude International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Also, she has an LL.M. and MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula earned a magnacum honours bachelor's degree Legal and Social Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She has been a practicing attorney for over four years. She has worked at a law firm that focuses on civil litigation that involves public law. Her past experiences also included working with roles in non-governmental organizations headquartered within Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
