Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded that are mostly of the horror or martial arts categories. Her style and method are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action flicks with a morbid fascination. After getting some attention on the forums on Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa), she began to write reviews in late 2009. At the beginning of 2015, she joined the site as Obscurus Lupa Presents changed to Movie Nights. She currently hosts two podcasts. One that covers the Charmed series and the second one co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. He has also had her guest star on several episodes of his program Midnight Screenings. She reviews awful films for kids or RiffTrax shows as well as sometimes adult-oriented films (including Baywatch (2017)). When she began reviewing films in 2009, she gained fame in the forums of Channel Awesome. Prior to becoming part of the official group that comprises Channel Awesome reviewers, she was a household name. She has made numerous appearances throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. The actress was member in the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also appear often on episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
