Jessica Ellen Cornish, popularly referred to as Jessie J, is a popular English musician and singer. Jessie's unconventional style of music that blends soul music electronic pop, pop, and hip-hop, has earned her not just fame but also recognition from a young age. Awards she received include the Critics' Choice Brit Award as well as BBC's Sound of 2011 as well numerous nominations. Jessie began her professional career at the young age of eleven when she was part of the musical "Whistle Down the Wind' by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. As of 2002, she was cast for"The Late Sleepers," which was the "National Youth Music Theater" performance of "The The Late Sleepers." Her debut album "Who You Are" was made available in February, 2011. She became famous that year. It immediately became a hit. In the first week, 105,000 copies were sold in the UK as well as 34,000 in the US. The album debuted as second at the UK Albums Chart and number 11 on US Billboard 200. Jessie is also known for her work in the field of charity and she is a part of charities such as 'Children in Need,' and "Comic Relief."
